On June 18, 1998, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the body of victim Rita Campoy, a 41-year-old female Hispanic, was discovered by a jogger/walker in the Griffith Park area. The victim was last seen in the company of the suspect as she left her place of employment in the City of Glendale.
