14 Year-Old Boy Missing

Los Angeles : The family of Ray Dijon Allen and the Los Angeles Police Department request the public’s assistance in locating Ray.
Ray Allen, 14 years old, was last seen by his grandmother, Ms. Vann, on January 23, 2005, at about 10:00 p.m. Earlier on the same day, Ray had gone skating with neighbors without his grandmother’s permission. When he returned home from skating, his grandmother told him to go back to the neighbor’s house and have them call her. She wanted to let the neighbor know that it was not okay for them to take Ray without her permission. Ray left and did not return.
On January 28, 2005, at about 9:30 p.m., Ms. Vann received a call from Ray who stated that he was in the city of Long Beach with some unknown people. While speaking to his grandmother, the phone was disconnected.
Ray is an African American, 5′ 5", 115 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, with light complexion. Ms. Vann describes Ray’s mental condition as good and does not take any medication, however he has some health concerns, such as loss of hearing in the left ear, low hemoglobin, high cholesterol, and a heart murmur.
