***UPDATE***Depri Parks was located in good condition on October 17, 2011, just before 9 p.m., and reunited with his family.
Los Angeles. The family of Depri Parks and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Parks who is in serious need of medical attention due to an injury.
On October 17, 2011, around 2:50 p.m., Parks was brought in to a local hospital in the 6000 block of Cadillac Avenue by his mother where he was being treated for a head injury. While at the hospital Depri became frightened and ran out of the emergency room and on to La Cienega Boulevard. Parks’ mother describes him as an honors student and his behavior was unusual. Parks’ family is very concerned for the child’s well-being due to his injury.
Parks is described as a male African American with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweater with “D.Parks” on the upper right side. There was also the lettering of “View Park Preparatory School” on the upper left side of the sweater. He was also wearing gray pants and gray “Addidas” sneakers.
