Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Area Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and arrest the person responsible for shooting a 17-year-old.
On August 4, 2015, around 9:00 p.m., Foothill Area officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of Terra Bella Street and Bromont Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old female who had both sustained gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the 17-year-old juvenile dead at the scene. They transported the 18-year-old female victim to a local area hospital where she is currently listed in stable condition.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple times at the victim and then fled in a vehicle. There is no suspect(s) information or vehicle description. The motive for this shooting is unknown at this time.
