Los Angeles: On Thursday, September 8, 2016, around 12:48 p.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “Murder Investigation” in the 18000 block of Roscoe Boulevard in the city of Northridge.
When the officers arrived, they found Adrian Anthony Ortiz inside the residence lying in a bath tub unconscious and not breathing suffering from puncture wounds.
Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Ortiz dead.
The investigation revealed Ortiz’s roommate attacked him in their apartment. Ortiz was stabbed multiple times. An additional roommate arrived home and assisted in altering the crime scene.
After a lengthy investigation, Lopez Ochoa, a twenty-year-old male Hispanic and resident of Northridge, was arrested for murder. Johnny Hernandez, a twenty-six year old male Hispanic and resident of Northridge, was arrested for accessory to murder after the fact.
Adrian Anthony Ortiz is a nineteen-year-old male Hispanic and resident of Northridge California.
