19 Year-Old Shot and Killed

 
Los Angeles: On Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at about 5:05 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 11600 block of Hunnewell Avenue in Lake View Terrace.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. They were shot while seated in their parked vehicle in front of the residence.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported both victims to a local hospital. The victims were 19 year-old Baldomero Flores, a resident of Lake View Terrace, and a 20 year-old male Hispanic, a resident of San Fernando. Flores died from his injuries a short time later. The 19 year-old was listed in stable condition.
Witnesses stated that unknown suspects drove up and stopped next to the victims’ vehicle. The suspects fired numerous shots into the victims’ vehicle and fled the location.
The suspects were driving a dark colored pick up truck. The motive is unknown.
