Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help to arrest the person responsible for the shooting a 19-year-old in Olympic.
On May 25, 2015, around 11:15 p.m., Olympic Area officers were flagged down by a citizen who directed them to a shooting victim at the intersection of 7th Street and Shatto Place. When the officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old juvenile unresponsive. The victim had sustained gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local area hospital where is currently listed in critical condition.
Witnesses reported that they saw a dark sedan leaving the area with male Hispanics inside the car. There is no other suspect(s) information and the motive for this shooting is unknown at this time.
