Los Angeles: A Los Angeles man was stabbed to death in East Los Angeles Saturday night.
On Saturday, March 4, shortly after 11:00 p.m., the victim, Jonathan Mendoza, was walking with two friends in the area of 2700 East Cesar Chavez Avenue. Mendoza was approached by an Hispanic man, 25 to 30 years of age, and they talked for approximately 5 minutes. Without warning, the suspect then stabbed Mendoza several times and walked away.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
