Los Angeles: On January 14, 2004, at 3:00 p.m., Chief William J. Bratton and Mayor James K. Hahn will be joined by Police Commission President David S. Cunningham, III, and Los Angeles City Council Members to present the 2003 year-end crime statistics, and announcement of the Department’s crime reduction goals for 2004.
Afterwards, there will be a Community Update Consent Decree meeting. The meeting is designed to allow the community to hear the current Consent Decree report from the Police Department and the Independent Monitor. This will also provide the community an opportunity to ask questions about the Department’s progress in complying with the Consent Decree.
