25-Year-Old Bicyclist Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver NR13442gb

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department, West Traffic Division Detectives are requesting the publics’ help in identifying the suspect responsible for the hit and run accident involving a 25-year-old female bicyclist in the Hollywood area.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2013, around 3:10 p.m., a female bicyclist was riding her bicycle eastbound Selma Avenue at the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Selma Avenue.

A dark colored Land Rover Range Rover Sport traveling westbound Selma Avenue collided with the bicyclist.  The driver of the vehicle initially stopped and exited his vehicle.  He then re-entered his car and drove away from the scene without identifying himself or rendering aid to the victim. The female bicyclist was critically injured from this traffic collision.  

The driver is described as a male White in his 20’s to 30’s with blonde or light brown hair. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.
