Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Area Homicide detectives have arrested two individuals in connection with a murder.
On November 5, 2015, around 11:10 p.m., Mission Division patrol officers responded to an “Ambulance Shooting”, radio call in the 12300 block of Montero Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found a man sitting in his vehicle suffering from several gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
Officers saw a possible suspect attempting to leave the location in a vehicle and was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. A second suspect was seen driving away from the location.
Officers followed the second suspect to the 210 Freeway where he abandoned his vehicle on Polk Street and ran away in an unknown direction. A short time later, the second suspect was found and arrested for murder.
The circumstances and motive for this homicide are still under investigation.
