Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and the family of a wheelchair bound young woman are asking for the public’s help to locate her.
On December 26, 2010, at around 4:00 p.m., Lateya Sharlon Carroll, a resident of Los Angeles, left the area of the 7000 block of Alondra Boulevard in Paramount, California. Ms. Carroll requires ongoing medical attention and has not had any contact with her family since the day that she went missing.
The missing person, Lateya Sharlon Carroll is described as a female black, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5′ 7" tall and weighs approximately 147 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red pull-over sweater and requires a wheelchair for mobility.
Anyone with information about Lateya’s whereabouts is asked to call LAPD’s Missing Person’s Unit at 213-996-1800.
