Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in a hit and run collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
On Sunday, October 26, 2014, around 2:45 a.m., a hit and run traffic collision occurred on Vermont Avenue and Venice Blvd. A dark Honda was traveling south bound on Vermont Avenue when it collided with a 40-year-old pedestrian, Juan Mendoza, and left the scene in an unknown direction.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was admitted to be treated for his injuries.
