42 Year-Old Woman Killed By Her Brother

Los Angeles: On December 22, 2003, at about 1:00 p.m., 42 year-old Marie Camille Suyama was at her residence in the 700 block of 17th Street in San Pedro. Her brother, 48 year-old Michael Paul, who also resides at the location, summoned the paramedics to their residence. The victim suffered multiple bruises to her body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Michael Paul was arrested for murder without incident.
The motive is unknown.
