Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver who fatally injured 48-year-old Brigitte Burdine of Los Angeles.
On Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at about 1:45 a.m., a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision occurred on Culver Boulevard and Pershing Drive. Investigators believe that a dark-colored sedan traveling in an easterly direction on Culver Boulevard, in the number two lane, collided with Burdine who was walking in an easterly direction on Culver Boulevard. The suspect left the scene without rendering help or providing identifying information as required by law.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics rushed Burdine to a local hospital where she later died.
Investigators are looking for a dark-colored sedan with possible front-end damage. There is no suspect description at this time.
