Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a man who was crossing the street Sunday morning.
On October 11, 2009, at around 3:20 a.m., the 49-year-old victim was walking northbound on Broadway at 93rd Street. The victim was hit by a white Kia traveling northbound on Broadway. The driver of the car failed to stop and render aid as required by law. There is currently no description of the suspect.
The victim died at scene from his injuries. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
Investigators have established a possible partial license plate number of “UR121.”
