WHY: On November 26, 2016,
around 9:25 p.m., Gabriela Futsi, 70-years-old, was crossing
Fountain Avenue utilizing her walker. Futsi was legally within the
unmarked crosswalk intersection when she was fatally struck by a
hit and run driver. Unfortunately, the witnesses were unable to
obtain the hit and run vehicle’s license plate number. Surveillance
cameras from a nearby residence captured footage of the collision
and the hit and run vehicle.

Detectives will be providing more details about the case and video
of the collision. Detectives will also request the public’s help in
identifying the hit and run suspect and the hit and run
vehicle.
