WHY: On November 7, 2016, around 6:08 p.m., 24-year-old Jacqueline Hernandez was crossing 12th Street, near Paloma Street when she was fatally struck by a hit and run driver. Unfortunately, witnesses were unable to obtain the vehicle’s license plate number. Surveillance cameras from a nearby business captured footage of the collision and the vehicle.
