WHY: On Saturday, March 28, 2016, around 8:20 p.m., 21-year-old Vallan Gavilan was standing near the 400 block of West 87th Street, when unknown person(s) drove by and shot him multiple times. Mr. Gavilan was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

This press conference is being scheduled to announce the $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for murder.
