Los Angeles: On Thursday, February 21, 2002 at approximately 7:00 p.m., a 61 year-old woman was in her apartment building, located in the 9500 block of Reseda Boulevard. The victim walked from her third floor apartment to retrieve her mail from the first floor. As she walked back to her apartment, she was followed by three male suspects. When she arrived at her door, she was forced inside by one of the suspects armed with a handgun. While in her apartment the suspects sexually assaulted the victim then fled with currency taken from her home. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
The suspects were described as three male Blacks approximately 20 to 30-years of age, all with shaved heads.
