Lake View Terrace: The Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Valley Bureau Homicide investigators are investigating the death of Armida Custodio.
On May 4, 2016, around 9:15 p.m., LAPD Foothill Area officers responded to a welfare check request at the 11300 block of Terra Vista Way in the city of Lake View Terrace. When the officers arrived, they attempted to make contact with the resident but were not able to do so. Immediately right after, officers made entry into the home to check and see if anyone was inside. The officers located an elderly female inside unconscious and not breathing.
Further investigation revealed that the elderly female had been deceased for an unspecified amount of time. The officers then immediately notified LAPD’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives to respond to the scene.
The victim has been identified as a seventy-eight-year-old Armida Custodio.
