Argument Leads to Violence

Los Angeles: On November 30, 2002, at approximately 10:00 p.m., West Valley officers responded to an "ambulance cutting" radio call in the 4700 block of Ellenita Street. Officers found that a large party was taking place at the single-family residence and that two partygoers had been involved in an argument. Witnesses to the incident reported that one suspect had stabbed a young male Black in the chest and he was taken to a nearby hospital. Officers responded to the Hospital where they found that a 16 year-old male, who had arrived by private vehicle, was being treated for multiple stab wounds and was in critical condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were standing in the street in front of the house where the party was taking place when they got into an argument over an unknown subject. The suspect stabbed the victim, then fled with two or three of his associates.
The suspect was described as a male White, possibly of mid-eastern extraction, 18 to 25 years old, 5’10" to 6’2" wearing a jacket with a hood.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time for security reasons. He is expected to recover from his injuries. No suspects have been identified or arrested at this time.
