Arrest and Filing of Felony Charges Against Former Officer involved in Off-Duty 2019 Shooting in Corona NR21206jc

Los Angeles: The California Attorney General has announced the arrest and filing of felony charges for alleged voluntary manslaughter and assault with a semiautomatic firearm against former Los Angeles Police Department Officer Salvador Sanchez. We are cooperating with the Office of the Attorney General in their investigation. Salvador Sanchez was terminated from the Los Angeles Police Department in July of 2020. Any inquiries are to be directed to the Office of the California Attorney General.
