Los Angeles: The family of Mohammad Reza Choroumi and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Choroumi.
Mr Choroumi last spoke to his brother on his cell phone on February 12, 2004 at approximately 8:30 a.m. and advised brother he was in the West Covina, California. He said he was on Azusa Avenue conducting construction business. This was the last time anyone had contact with Mr. Choroumi.
Mr. Choroumi was driving his construction truck which is described as a white 2000 Ford F350 dually pick up truck with no tailgate and California license number 6J58496. The vehicle was found by the California Highway Patrol of February 12, 2004, abandoned under suspicious circumstances at the north bound 405 freeway at the Inglewood exit. The vehicle was impounded on February 13, 2004.
Mr. Choroumi is described as a 36 year old white male (Iranian descent) 5’9″, 190 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. The family advises the missing man’s mental and physical condition are good. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pullover sweater, blue jeans and brown boots. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Choroumi is asked to call the Missing Persons Unit at 213-485-3581.
