On May 21, 2016, around 4 p.m., 77th Street patrol officers were
patrolling in the area of Florence Avenue and Figueroa Street when
they saw Phillip Darryl Cole sitting on the bus bench, who matched
the description of the photograph that was provided to officers.
The officers made contact with Cole and arrested him without
incident.

Phillip Darryl Cole Date of Birth is on July, 4 1961 and charged
with Attempt Murder. His bail amount is 1,270,000.00 dollars.

The two victims are in stable condition.

Los Angeles: Robbery detectives from the Los Angeles
Police Department’s 77th Street Area are asking for the public’s
help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of
the suspect responsible for several robberies and an attempt murder
of homeless victims.

On May 19, 2016, around
6:40 a.m., an attempt murder occurred in an empty lot at 83rd
Street and Vermont Avenue. The suspect approached a homeless
encampment and threw a flammable liquid on two victims and lit them
on fire, causing serious injuries.

The suspect’s name is Phillip Darryl Cole. He is a male Black with
black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and
weighs approximately 260 pounds. The suspect is transient and
believed to be in the area where the crime occurred.
