Attempt Robbery Suspects Sought in Pacific Area NR15072lp

Venice: Los Angeles Police
Department’s Pacific Area robbery detectives are asking for the
public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the
arrest of two suspects who tried to rob two male victims.

On February 28, 2015, around 7:55 p.m.,
two suspects approached the victims who were standing at an ATM
terminal near a Chevron Gas Station located in the 200 block of
Lincoln Boulevard. The suspects made demands for the victim’s
wallets. Afraid of the suspects, the victims walked away. The
suspects followed the victims and a physical altercation occurred.
Several passers-by noticed the suspects accosting the victims and
intervened. The suspects then fled the scene, walking eastbound on
Rose Ave from Lincoln Boulevard.

The first suspect is described as a 21 to 26-year-old Hispanic
male, with black hair and light colored eyes. He stands about 5
feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen
wearing a Nike, gray, hooded jacket, a white t-shirt, blue jeans
and white tennis shoes. He has a distinct tattoo of a bear’s head
on the right side of his neck, another tattoo on his inner left arm
and a small tattoo on his left wrist.

The second suspect is described as a 21
to 30-year-old Hispanic male, with black hair and dark eyes. He
stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was
last seen wearing a red “LA” baseball cap, a black V-neck t-shirt,
dark gray cargo shorts and Nike red, black and white tennis
shoes.
