Los
Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Wilshire
Area Burglary detectives are asking for the public’s help in
identifying a suspect caught on video taking handbags from the high
end boutique, Parabellum.
On September 13, 2015, around 2:40 a.m., the suspect is seen
looking inside the boutique located in the 8200 block of Melrose
Avenue. He then uses a sledge hammer to smash the display window.
Using an industrial size dry cleaning bag, the suspect goes around
the store stuffing it with purses and other merchandise. A total of
15 bags were taken, each valued to be around $2,500.
The suspect is described as a male Black, 40 to 50 years of age,
standing 6 feet, three inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. He is
seen wearing a white towel or rag on his head, black shirt, blue
jeans, white shoes and gloves.
