To Honor the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks on the East Coast

Los Angeles: It is estimated that 600 motorcyclists from the Los Angeles area will be participating in a Candlelight Vigil in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack on the East Coast on September 11, 2001. The Ceremony and Vigil will be held on Friday, September 21, 2001 at 7:00 P.M. in front of the Southeast Area Community Police Station and Fire Station No. 64, located on 108th Street between Main and Spring Streets.
The event is hosted by the "Chosen Few Motorcycle Club." The Club’s National President, "Pee Wee" Mitchell, will be the Master of Ceremonies, assisted by Chapter President Tommy "Five-O" Johnson. They will present plaques to Captain Patrick Gannon of Southeast Police Station and Fire Captain Harvey of Fire Station No. 64, to honor police and fire personnel.
Los Angeles area motorcycle clubs, including members from the "Defiant Ones," the "Magnificent 7," the "Royal Aces," the "Divided Times," and the "LA Dueces," among others, will also be attending and showing their support for law enforcement and fire personnel during this time of crisis.
Southeast Police-Clergy Council President Reverend Steve Johnson, Police Chaplain Father Jesus Vela, and the "Chosen Few Club" Chaplain Reverend Dennis Moore will also be present and provide a few words of support.
