Cargo Container Stolen From Business

On Thursday, November 4, 1999, at approximately 2:00 A.M., Burglary-Auto Division Cargo Hijack Detectives, responded to a robbery that occurred around midnight in the 300 block of West "C" Street in the Wilmington Area. A security officer at a trucking business was accosted by two male Hispanics in their 20’s who brandished handguns and tied up the security officer. The suspects then stole a cargo container loaded with electric equipment worth approximately $300,000 and fled the location. The victim was not injured.

The cargo container is gray with a Tennessee license plate of Z42029.
