WHY: To announce City-wide celebrations planned to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Police Department.

VISUALS: * 150th Anniversary Commemorative Badge resembling the LAPD Badge worn in 1869 * Static displays & demonstrations from some of the Department’s specialized units * Ceremonial fly-over performed by LAPD’s Air Support Division * Anniversary cake from Sweet Lady Jane Bakery * Tour of the iconic LAPD Academy
