Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and
Central Area Detectives are asking for the public’s help in
identifying additional victims of Terry Donaldson.
On September 12, 2015, around 3:00 p.m., Central Area patrol
officers saw a suspect run past them. Immediately thereafter
followed a victim who told the officers the suspect had just stolen
his cell phone.
The officers engaged in a foot pursuit that lasted several blocks,
including entry and exit of a Metro subway station. The suspect was
eventually taken into custody by Central Area officers.
As the officers worked on their investigation, two additional
victims approached the officers and advised that they too had been
victimized by the same suspect. The robberies had occurred in the
area of 4th Street, between Hope and Hill Streets.
The suspect was arrested for 211 P.C.-Robbery and for a No Bail
Parole Violation Warrant from the State of Missouri.
The suspect was identified as Terry Donaldson, Male, Black, 6’6″,
medium build, dark complexion, and 30 years old. Donaldson admitted
taking over 30 cell phones during the last month.
