WHY:
Central Area invites the entire downtown community to participate in a day of getting-to-know their local LAPD division.  There will be a guided tour, live entertainment, demonstrations, and a “taste of downtown” experience form a multitude of local eating establishments.  

Many of the LAPD’s specialized units will be on hand with static displays of their specialized gear and equipment, including, SWAT, T3s, LAPD Motorcycles, state of the art police cars and more.

It will be a fun and educational day.  Bring the kids and the whole family for an up-close and personal look at your community police station and the police officers who serve.
