WHAT: CPD vs. LAPD Police Football Game

WHO: Los Angeles Police Department Centurions Football Team Chicago Police Enforcers
WHY: At East Los Angeles College, the LAPD Centurions will take on the Chicago Police Enforcers in a charity football game to benefit blind and visually impaired children.
In advance of today’s game, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck called up Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson and challenged him to a friendly winner-take-all wager between several LA and Chicago eateries.
If the Chicago Police Enforcers win today’s game, Chief Beck will ship a pastrami lunch with all the fixings from LA’s Langer’s Deli while Superintendent Eddie Johnson will ship Chicago deep-dish pizza from Lou Malnatis and Italian Beef from Portillos.
Ticket price for today’s game is $5 and children are free.
