Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Monthly News Availability Meeting, hosted by Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton. This news availability is consistent with Chief Bratton’s mandate to foster an attitude of openness and cooperation between the Department and the public/media.
Chief Bratton will discuss the City’s current crime trends and crime statistics. Additionally, family members of a senseless murder, which took the lives of two siblings over a jersey, will attend the news availability to appeal the public’s help in locating the suspect. The incident occurred on January 31, 2004, in the 3100 block of West Adams Boulevard.
Members of the media will have a chance to ask questions to the Chief.
