Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the assistance of the media to provide the public with the following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating a child taken by his father.
On June 1, 2003, the missing child’s mother contacted the 77th Area Police Station to report that the suspect had failed to return their child on May 31, 2003 as agreed. The mother indicated that the suspect (child’s father) called her on June 1, 2003 at approximately 9:45 p.m., and told her that he may go to Mexico. The father has been known to conceal the child in the past and has taken the child to Mexico.
The child is described as three year-old Alexis Esclardra, a male Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes, approximately 3 feet and 48 pounds.
The suspect is described as 25 year-old German Esclardra, a male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches and 145 pounds.
