Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information of two missing girls to assist law enforcement efforts in locating them.
On Thursday, November 10, 2005, at about 7:20 PM, one of the missing girl’s father came to police and reported that these girls have not come home. The father further said that the girls were last seen in an apartment in the 7200 block of South Normandie Avenue where a registered sex offender lives.
Officers conducted a follow up investigation to the apartment and interviewed the registered sex offender. He acknowledged the girls had been at his residence earlier in the day, but left about 11:00 AM. He is being detained for further questioning.
The missing girls are 12-year-old Jasmine Neshay Griffith and 13-year-old Hillary Williams.
Jasmine is an African-American, black hair, brown eyes, 5′, 105 lbs. Hillary is also an African-American, brown hair, brown eyes, 5′ 7″, 105lbs. They were both wearing white shirts, dark colored jeans and white shoes.
