Child Missing, Taken by Father

Los Angeles: On May 26, 2002, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the father of the missing child took his 11 year-old daughter, against her will, and left their residence. The father and the child’s mother had been involved in a domestic dispute which included violence against the child’s mother. The father informed the mother he was taking the child and she would never see her again.
The father has been identified as Juan Alberto Enriquez, a male Hispanic, 32 years old, brown hair, brown eyes, 5′ 9", 190 pounds and large build. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue shorts and white tennis shoes. He was driving a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder, grey 2-door with California license # 2WJX582.
The missing child is Monica Gabriela Enriquez, a female Hispanic, 11 years of age, black hair, brown eyes, 5′ 8", 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey blouse, grey pants and white tennis shoes. The father and child were last seen at 1807 1/2 West 25th Street, Los Angeles. Possible locations the child may be taken are Tijuana, Mexico; San Francisco, California; Reno, Nevada or the state of Utah.
