Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Area Juvenile Detectives are investigating the parental abduction of two young girls.
On Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Pacoima resident, Isidro Garcia was last seen with her two children; 10 year-old Elisa Maria Garcia and 12 year-old Erika Maria Garcia.
LAPD investigators believe Garcia may have taken her children out of state and without the permission of the children’s father.
The father of the two girls, Pacoima resident Eduardo Garcia, filed a missing persons investigative report on February 12, 2003 when his common law wife did not return home with the children. Both parents have non-legal custody of the two girls and the father believes the mother has taken the children to Tempe, Arizona.
Driving in an unknown dark colored vehicle, the LAPD is asking for the media’s assistance in locating the children and their mother. A photograph is available by contacting the LAPD Foothill Area Juvenile Detectives at 818-834-3115. Anyone with information is asked to call the Foothill Area Juvenile Detectives at 818-834-3115.
