WHY: A news conference to bring awareness to the growing number of fatal hit and run traffic collisions in the city of Los Angeles. In 2019, over 21,200 vehicular hit and run traffic collisions occurred in the City. Tragically, over 51 people have been killed in these incidents. The impacts of these traffic collisions are devastating, far reaching, and they impact the entire community.
