Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Harbor Burglary detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying four burglary suspects.
On January 21, 2013, four people entered a store in the 1700 block of North Gaffey Street in San Pedro. The suspects selected over a thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise and went to the check-out lanes. The cashier scanned and bagged the items which three of the suspects put back into the shopping cart. The suspects then ran out of the store with the merchandise and drove away in a maroon mini-van. The fourth suspect stayed inside the store and attempted to pay for the merchandise with a bad check. The fourth suspect eventually advised store security she wanted to go outside to get her husband to pay for the items. When she got outside she ran and got into an awaiting car. The suspects have not been identified.
The first suspect is described as a 50-year-old White female with brown hair. She stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. She was wearing a black sweater and dark blue jeans. The second is described only as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. The third is described as a White male, with brown hair and a youthful appearance. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt jacket and black pants. The fourth is a White female with a brown hair. She was wearing a white jacket.
