What: Community Police Academy For Adults
When: Wednesday, September 18, 2003, between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
Where: Elysian Park Police Academy, 1880 North Academy Drive, Los Angeles
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau will conduct a Community Police Academy for Adults. The nine-week course will commence on Wednesday, September 18, 2003, and be held at the Elysian Park Police Academy and will conclude with a graduation ceremony on November 20, 2003.
During the Community Police Academy, enrolled students will be encouraged to build a lasting partnership with the Department, with the ultimate goal of reducing crime and improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
Each community member must meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 years old or older;
Live or work within Operations-Central Bureau;
No prior felony conviction;
No outstanding warrants;
No pending criminal cases; and
Must be approved by an Area Commanding Officer.
