"Community Members Rally to Locate Killers of 11 Year-Old Boy"

Los Angeles: On Friday, February 22, 2002, at approximately 10:50 p.m., an 11 year-old male Black was seated in the rear cargo area of a vehicle. Two other female Black victims, ages 25 and 26, were seated in the front seat of another vehicle, which was parked next to each other in the 4600 block of West Adams Boulevard.
The suspects’ vehicle stopped in the 2600 block of West Boulevard. Three male Black suspects exited the vehicle and one of the suspects pointed a handgun in the direction of the victims’ vehicles. The suspect fired numerous rounds striking all three victims and both vehicles. The suspects ran back to their vehicle and fled the location.
The victims were transported to a local hospital and were treated for their injuries. The 11 year-old victim, Cameron Williams, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The other two victims are expected to make a full recovery.
The suspects are described as three male Blacks, 20-25 years of age. Their vehicle was described as a 1980’s Cadillac Deville, 4-door, dark brown in color.
