On August 13, 2015, around 11:50
a.m., Donyetta Butts, the 12-year-old missing juvenile in the
Mission Hills area, was located. She was returned to the same
location from where she was reported missing. Donyetta was dropped
off by an unidentified female community member. She was reunited
with her mother shortly thereafter, and appears to be unharmed. The
facts surrounding her disappearance are still under
investigation.
Los Angeles: The family of Donyetta Butts and the Los
Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit is requesting the
public’s help in locating her.
Donyetta Butts was last seen on August 11, 2015, around 9.30 p.m,
in the 9400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard in Mission Hills.
Donyetta’s family is concerned that she has not been located as she
suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and is currently taking
medications.
Donyetta is described as a 12-year-old female Black with long
black, braided hair with maroon tips. She stands 5 feet 5 inches
tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing
a pink and white spandex top with black leggings. She was not
wearing any shoes.
