On May 18, 2019, Mr. Chavez was found in the Hollenbeck area and in
good health.
Los Angeles: The family of
Fernando Cruz Chavez and detectives from the Los Angeles Police
Department’s Missing Person’s Unit are asking for the public’s help
in locating him.
Fernando was last seen on May 17, 2019, around 2:30 p.m., by staff
at the adult living facility where he resides. The facility is in
the 5100 block of Sunset Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles.
Fernando suffers from Dementia and requires dialysis treatment. His
family is very concerned for his safety.
Fernando is described as a 71-year-old male Hispanic with gray hair
and brown eyes. He stands
5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen
wearing a black San Francisco baseball cap, “Bear logo” black
jacket, white shirt, black pants and black shoes.
