Dead Body Found in Vehicle

On Friday, December 3, 1999, at approximately 2:15 p.m., West Los Angeles Patrol Officers received a radio call to investigate a possibly abandoned vehicle in front of the 170 block of Church Lane. The vehicle was described as a late model Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle. Officers responded to the location and conducted a vehicle investigation. As part of an inventory search of the vehicle, officers discovered the dead body of a male Caucasian possibly in his 30’s inside the vehicle. The body was wearing little or no clothing.
LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the death of the victim discovered in the vehicle and the possibility of foul play. This investigation is in its initial stages and there are no further details at this time. Further information will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
