Los Angeles: On Thursday, May 22, 2003, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Southeast Area patrol officers received a dead body call in the 11200 block of South Hooper Avenue. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics had also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The subsequent investigation by Southeast Area Homicide Detectives and Los Angeles County Coroner’s investigator did not reveal any obvious signs of foul play or immediate cause of death. The investigation is classified as an undetermined death, pending an autopsy by the Coroner’s Office.
The decedent was a Black male, approximately 50 years old.
