Dead Woman from Hollywood Identified

Los Angeles: A 19 year-old woman who was found dead in Hollywood on Sunday morning has been identified through her fingerprints.
The body was discovered on June 28, 2005, around 6 AM, in the 800 block of Highland Avenue. The victim’s name is Ashley Veater, a resident of Santa Fe Springs.

Detectives from the Wilshire Area Homicide Section believe the woman was a victim of a homicide, but the cause of death was not immediately known pending an autopsy by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
