Deadly Shooting in Harbor Area NR17024sr

Harbor City: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the death of Juan Ignacio Alcala, a 29-year-old male Hispanic. On January 18, 2017 around 6:25 p.m., Harbor Area officers responded to the 1200 block of West 256th Street for a shooting investigation. When the officers arrived they found Juan Ignacio Alcala in a backyard suffering from gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed Mr. Alcala was in his backyard when unknown suspect(s) approached him and shot him multiple times.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and pronounced Mr. Alcala dead at the scene. There are no suspect(s) description or leads on the vehicle used for this crime.
