Los Angeles: LAPD detectives are investigating a shooting that claimed the lives of two male Hispanics in a South Los Angeles neighborhood.
On Saturday evening, July 9, 2005, at about 5:00 p.m., in the 1500 block of 43rd street, Hermillo Ortega a 44-year-old and a his 35-year-old unidentified acquaintance were arguing. A struggle began between the two resulting in a shooting that injured both men.
Both men were transported to local hospitals were they were pronounced dead.
