Los Angele: LAPD West Los Angeles detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery victim who left the crime scene without identifying himself in West Los Angeles area.
On August 21, 2011, LAPD West Los Angeles area plain clothes officers were in the area of Pico Boulevard and Sherbourne Street when they observed what appeared to be a robbery in progress. The male victim was on the ground in a fetal position as two suspects were actively beating him and rummaging through his pockets. The plain clothes officers exited their vehicle to detain two suspects and two suspects fled to an awaiting vehicle. The officers requested assistance and pursued the suspects. Two suspects were eventually arrested. However, the victim left the scene without identifying himself. Detectives are asking the victim to come forward.
